Philosophy on Ministry

Our philosophy of ministry at First Baptist Church of Woodbine is simple… We are a place where all God’s children can worship in Spirit and Truth. We believe the Bible is the written Word of God; all scripture is God Breathed and is as applicable today as it was the day it was written. Our worship services consist of singing praises to His name and rightly dividing the Word, honoring and glorifying the Triune God of creation, learning as the Body of Christ to be unified in our efforts of service and worship, and being disciples who make disciples as Jesus told us to do.

We believe that salvation is by God’s Grace through Faith in Christ. As the Bible teaches, no one comes to the Father except through the Son.

Practicing the Great Commission, where disciples make disciples, and the Great Commandment that we love God with all our hearts, soul, mind, and strength, and we love our neighbors as ourselves, is not just a belief but a way of life that inspires us and motivates us every day…
